I'm sorry I was unable to cohost this show,due to hospitalization.

I still want to do another show,Darryl.Maybe we can talk crappie spoons,and other interesting topics about slabs.....in a couple of months.

I also would like to do a show with BnM Poles,DriftMaster,and a few others in the next 6 months.

Hey how are you? I tried to call you in the hospital, but no one answered the phone. I hope you leg is better now!

I'm home now Skip.Thanks,but got bad news from the Doc yesterday.They are advising me to stay off the leg for another 5-6 weeks so the leg tissue get's healed completely from the infection.

I'm not sure I can stay away from my favorite websites,that long.....

The best part of this so far...is I've been off cigarettes now for 8 days.That's the longest so far in over 30 years.I hear it takes 7 years to be healed from the effects tobacco has on the body...???It's still worth it,and hope I can continue to be tobacco free.My wife quit also,which I think is going to help me immensely.

I'll try and stay in tough with everyone.

I've asked True Fisher(of Reedsburg Wi) if he would take over my Wisconsin moderating till I get better.

Great job Darryl, really enjoyed the show. Thanks Jerry for posting about the show. Do what the doc says and get better soon. You could tape a heavy weight plastic bag over the leg and sneak some time on the water. Have fun getting the tape off though, I still have no hair from removing the tape. lol Thanks again, Ferdi

Well I hope you make it on stopping smoking. FYI, I quit after 37 years of Marlboro Reds and it's now been 7 1/2 years since I had a cigarette. You can do it, just remember never take a puff, not even one! I quit Jan of 1999.

Keep your mind strong on this and I hope you make it. Know that the urge will continue from time to time. I still have them every once in a wile, but it's not so bad any more when the urge comes.
