I just checked the COE web site and saw that they were pouring the water though the lake to drop it down to winter pool. They are moving 650 cfs of water though the damn. The lake is still up at 535 ft above sea level. They need to drop the lake down to 533 or 532 ft for winter pool. Fish should be holding to cover if there is a current in the area of the lake that you are fishing. Water temps were not given on this web site. They stopped putting the water quality data on the web site back on Nov 1st of this year. Last report that I could find was for Oct 18th 2004 which was reported on Nov 1st 2004. Suffice it to say that the water is pretty darn cold these days. Lakes further south of Patoka are forming ice on the surfaces of the shallower and smaller ponds and lakes.
