Nobody has used these?
Anyone used the Bobby Garland rattles? I have been fishing a lot at night casting and was thinking it might help me get more bites... Anyone used em?
Not heard of them. Heard about the Rock Port R. a lot though.
Did a search. Could see it working in a tube bait but a little cramped in the others I use. Couldn't hurt though.
We have used the glass tubes in plastic worms for bass,,yeah rocking back and forth it will tick but... IF you can find a round one with a hole in the middle they work much better. Due to them being smaller I can only assume much less affect
Try adding scent instead of the rattles.

I haven't actually seen them in person but I was wanting to put one in a bobby garland baby shad... I have been tipping with the glow crappie nibbles and it had been working pretty good but I'm always looking for an edge
You can getum in different sizes.

To really get much out of them the bait really needs to be rocking,,otherwise the rattle just rolls and stays at the rear of the glass.
Go to fishing skirts.com and look at the mickey mouse ear holding clip/ rattles. If you can figure how to run two rattles on your jig this might work better for you, but it will still take a rocking action to get them to click. IF this mickey collar will fit in front of the grub on the jig collor, go for it.
Yeah, I just bought some at BPS I think the smallest they had was a 2mm, I plan on shoving them in my plastics when the going gets tuff
I notice them at my local Academy store but did not buy them.
