I Chose to go with 2 golf cart batteries which gave me more power then the group 31 I had previously,,,,I believe you Could use a group 31 or maybe go with the cart batteries as well,,,, they even have blem batteries in either one for cheap,,,, Like 100 bucks ech,,,great buy for getting the best IMHO,,,,happy fishin!

I get mine from the local Golf Cart dealer. It is a regular Deep Cycle Boat battery, but the guy that runs the place knows his batteries and has always treated me well.
The batteries available at Wal Mart and such will work, but I like dealing with someone who is trying to make a customer, not just a sale.

My $.02 and worth what you paid for it.

I have been using Interstate for 3 years with no regrets.

Hold a charge very well and reasonably priced.

The cart batts will last forever but if that scamp aint on a trailer and doesn't have a very stout place for it to sit then it will be too much, things weigh 90 pounds. Not something you want to have to handle all the time for sure.

My rule of thumb.Biggest you got room for location and pocketbook...Best warranty thats local enough to get exchange...If battery is easy to check water and add /wet cell OK...If not get a Maint Free
