    Default LaCygne one more time...

Even after stepping in some fresh dog doo before backing the boat down and then smearing it into the floor mat, Ron and I were hoping that wouldn't be an omen for a "crappy" day, so to the outlet we went. Things started off a little slower this time but we soon had the count down and the fish were still active. Double jig rigs --2 --1/16th oz. heads and curly tails were the ticket once again but we also caught em on a variety of colors and styles. Not many doubles today but the catch to keeper ratio was a little better. At times there were 4 boats at the outlet and most were catching fish....the 9- 9 3/4 size ruled the day and even though it was "deja vue" from last thursday it was still enjoyable. I did use a clicker today and 203 was the final tally with over 30 keepers. Name: 20140310_120623[1].jpg

Very nice! Sure would be good if I was closer to one of those plant lakes during the winter.

Good to see you old folk getting out of the house...lol

And good to see Ron made it back all the way from Florida.

I'll bet with all the cold weather the warm water discharge really concentrates the fish down there now.
I've yet to wet a line this year, but it seems I sure think about it a lot.

I was at Lacygne all day Sunday as well. I saw all the boats camped out over there...didn't want to crowd the group. I was in the black Lowe Deep V fishing the submerged bridge....battling the wind all day. We caught fish but worked super hard to stay on top of the school. I'm guessing we caught 60-70 fish fighting the wind...with only 7 over 10".

Nice job again! Your pictures make me jealous. You guys were tucked nicely out of the wind. We battled white caps for 6 hours.

NO... there is something "fishy" about Ron...
I've even seen Ron jump in the lake to get his line un-snagged..

Glad you boys had a good day..
