I use Netscape 7.2. I used mozilla for a while. Firefox is becoming very popular. Don't know anything about Opera. You won't realize how sorry IE is until you have tried one of these others. As i have said in previous posts, you won't be hounded by popups, lockups or other junk that happens on IE. These other browsers are very stable and i highly recommend them. For an OS, i use Windows 2000 Professional. www.netscape.com www.mozilla.com

Oh, netscape is built with mozilla, so they both are quiet similar.

I use netscape also. Haven't had any problems with it. On one of the others, I think it was IE, I couldn't get the websites to go to full screen. A lot of the space was taken up by other junk.

How does downloading Netscape affect Outlook Express,my e-mail program, and other programs associated with IE?

I have a dial up ISP. Usually how long does it take to download?

    Thanks

I don't know Don. I don't use Outlook. I also don't know how long to download on dial-up. I run a cable modem. Sorry i couldn't help. I wouldn't think it would affect your email seeing as how its just the browser, but i don't know for sure.

    Default Internet Explorer

I'm running IE, with Windows XP Home and the service pack 2 upgrade. Works pretty well for me, I think XP plus the service pack 2 picked up the slack where IE left off.

fatboy you are going to love this - my IP is wmconnect.com - which is walmart - my wife got it works good and is only $9.94 a month - it is on the same format as aol and it is fairly fast for dial up - we don't have cable where I live - and I here horror stories about sattelite internet - did not even think about until this thread started - this works better for me than netzero or the more expensive IP's - hope you don't quit talking to me fatboy..............
