    Default 12' rods...suggestions...

Suggestions, as there are SOOOOOO many different poles out there. What I am going to do is simple. I have a 12' jiggin' pole, but what I am looking for are "cheaper" (I'm a youth minister and don't have much extra $$$) poles that are good quality. I have homemade rod holders on the front of my boat, and what I am planning on doing is VERY SLOW trolling with the rods off the front of the boat. I can't spider rig, as I live in Illinois. But, I want the 2 pole max.
What do I need? Where do I get it?

Some quick answers would be appreciated...taking out a couple kids from the youth group end of next week!

    Thanks...

go to grizzly jig and you can get 4 pinnacle rods for 60 dollars then you can spider rig 6 poles if you have 3 people in the boat and if on a corp lake you can troll 3 poles each

I vote for the pinnacle poles as well. That's what I use and I'm happy with them.

About 10 yrs. ago ,a friend was boasting about how good his rods were . Another friend told him jokingly that he could catch as many on cane poles .A twenty dollar bet was quickly taken . The cane were 12-16 ft . , all Carolina rigged , set at 10-14 ft . , fished with minnows . both caught the limit in less than 5 hrs . It's pretty simple "crappie like minnows" . Actually most pontoon fishermen on Enid twenty yrs. ago, used cane . I would go pinnacle or fire cast (both at grizzly ).

Hello Mrwillis : I would contact Grizzly jig and tell them your situation and I bet that they would work with you. Good Luck this season. O - R

Duck Commander trolling poles with depth marking system made by BnM. Best I've ever used.

for the money the Pinnacles are the best I have used, also the Fire Cast in a 14 footer is a good rod, 2 piece as well. If Pinnacle had had a 14 foot rod that is most likely what I would have bought.
