    Default Moss 3/8/14

Hit the lake about 8am and caught the first fish at 10 lake was trashy, cold and muddy. Fish were in water 25 ft. and up, wt. was 45 at start and got up to 49, left at 4, managed to catch only 24, kept 8 for supper let the rest swim for another day. Fish don't know what to do, to many fronts coming through.

Last year on March 12th i started to catch alot of crappies as they were beginning to stage for the spawn, and as they stage they start to feed heavily and by my records the surface water temp where is was fishing was 52 degrees....however we had a very cold front come thru that shut them down for 3 days and when they started to eat again i was catching them is 8-12 ft of water that was stained. I think the amount of light in the days now is getting them ready and they are staging in 14-20 ft of water near structure and it is just a matter of a few more degrees and it will be game on!!!
