leader line for spider rigging

Hey guys, Do yall prefer mono or fluor for leader line for spider rigging? Thanks

I am just setting mine up, and tryed to do my homework on it. I am using 8# hi vis mono on the reels, and 6# fluoro coated mono on the rigs themselves, warning it takes some time to tie them all, I pre tied 6 sets for 4 poles= 24 rigs total and my grandson counted 96 knots! it took me two evenings and a twelve pack fyi if you pre tie your rigs, get a pool noodle, cut it int appropriate lengths, then wrap your rigs around them and label them to what weight they are, yeah its been a long Winter

I use 6# clear mono for the leader and 14# high viz for the main line.
