    Default River slabs

With the little warm up, I think those river slabs are going to bite tomorrow. Woohoo, I'm stoked. Now I got to get my crappie fix, so I can start using my boat full of bass gear again.

Yesterday, and this morning, there was ice on the edges of the East Fork of the White River, and the backwaters at Williams was again 3/4 iced over as the cold nites aren't helping at all. During these teaser sunny days its melting, but at nite, refreezing so the water temps aren't coming up much. When I see 5 eagles sitting in the trees over the open spots on the backwaters,,they are waiting on the bait fish to come up and move around to feed,,,and its not happening yet as they aren't feeding like they normally will. I'm in a waiting mode myself.

River at Portersville is looking real good. Don't think the ramp has been cleared of mud after the recent high water.

Caught a few yesterday. Water still ultra cold. Just a shade above freezing at dawn. Fished near home today, but most of the bays and marinas were still ice.

Awesome! Glad you got out and caught a few. Better days are ahead.
