    Default Dock Shooting Question

Does this technique work for people like me who only shore fish? I would think it would but I have never tried this yet and I am thinking about trying in about three weeks or so when I go fishing. Thanks.

yes it will work for you and also give you another way to catch fish, you can take that training and shoot under tree limbs and such and when you cannot draw back on bank to make a cast,i even shoot some on boat in open water to keep in pratice

It sure will help, I tried it last year when I was fishing a part of a lake where I couldn't overhead cast. I was able to shoot the lure out just as far as a normal cast!

One good reason to give it a try is look around at the trees, lines, etc. and see all the floats, jigs, etc. hanging.

This technique is for getting your jig to difficult to reach places. As long as you can access where you want to shoot the jig from the shore give it a whirl. The water levels will certainly be different but if the crappie are holding in those tight places go shootin' for them and good luck. Let us know how it works you might inspire other shore fishers to try getting their jig where the fish are holding.
