? Pre rigged swim baits

Wondering if anyone has a problem with swimbaits like the wild eye shad or Berkley realistix running true. Sometimes they seem to swim off to one side. Should I be using a snap or a split ring instead of tying direct? Thanks !

I just take the minnow swimbait and superglue it to the jighead making sure it is straight and the hook comes directly out of the center of the back. I also personally prefer a small hook snap..just so I can change lures and color quickly to suit the mood of the fish and the weather conditions.
