    Default jon boat spider riggin question


    I have a 1648 landau wuth a fairly narrow front end im thunkin I could use the center bench as a place to sit while spider riggin will this be to far back? Has any one done this thanks

    Should work fine. I might mount some holders where I could fish more off each side and be a little farther from the boat.

    Mount rod holders to point out the sides. Stagger rod length to get good coverage. Go from 6 foot rods to 12 foot rods. Longest rods to the front of the spread and shortest to the back. You can angle the rods forward some so you don't have to do as much looking back and forth.CF
