I've always used mono and have caught a lot of fish but thinking about going to fluorocarbon.
stick with mono, you'll loose fewer fish. If fishing very small stuff (1/32oz) deep (20 foot +) i will sometimes use berkley Crystal line. very thin, very sensative. 99% of the time, mono will put more fish in the boat.
I run hi viz mono on my casting rods and slip float stuff. I run braid on my jig stick. Talk about feeling everything.
Braid here on casting and jigging rods, unbelievable feel and fewer missed fish.
Braid on the deep jig rods, hi vis mono on most everything else.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
With skeet on that one, same set up and as stated above on those cold lite bite days you can feel everything in the deep stuff with the braid.
