YOU WILL GET A LOT OF CHOICES FOR SURE ! THEY ARE ALWAYS COMMING OUT WITH A NEW ONE . I LIKE B/M SAM HEATON SERIES BUT THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD CHOICES OUT THERE . TO ME ALL 12 FT. RODS FEEL BETTER . KNOW WHY ? BECAUSE THATS WHAT I STARTED WITH .OZARK, DOES NOT HAVE A 12 FT WITH REAR SEAT YET BUT I AM WAITING ! GOOGLE GRIZZLY JIG COMPANY AND MONKS TO GET AN IDEAL , AS WELL AS CABELAS AND PRO BASS . AFTER YOU BUY 5-10 YOU WILL FIGURE OUT WHAT "YOU" LIKE .

I like the smaller slater's plastic reel .It's not sold anywhere around where I live . Most of my jigging rods have the B/M reel that is slightly larger and they work fine as well . fly reels add to much weight . JMO .You can get the B/M at Wal-Mart for about 6 bucks .

I love the 11' forward seat Ozarks , they are tough. I can rod a 2 lb Crappie in the boat without fear it will break unlike B-n-M.
