you guber YOU used it at the big sandy
For you folks that have used NanoFil for a while. Would you give us an update on how you like it? I am concerned about the wrapping around the tip eye.
Thanks.

I have a spool and have never put it on yet, LOL! So I am not much help, but would also like to hear some feedback now. However just looking at it I can see how it would be any worse than braid for that wrapping around the tip which happens more than I would like, but don't find it much of a problem as I always know when I cast if it's wrapped. Have not had any trouble other than at that time.
I have used it for 3 yrs. now with no big complaints. Wind knots are no problem compared to regular braid, but you should always use an abrasion resistent (flourocarbon leader), 'cause nanofil is not abrasion resistant. It casts like a dream and is super sensitive.
I DO MY BEST PROOFREADING RIGHT AFTER I HIT THE "SUBMIT" BUTON
I like it in deep water, better sensitivity than mono and casts better than braid. Don't like it for dock shooting, same problem as braid, frays too easily from dock posts, etc, and once that happens, it doesn't shoot as well as mono. And at that price, I just use it for casting jigs.
