Default First full day trip in the new boat

Today was the first full day trip in my new boat and what a way to break it in. Had two guys from Frankfort KY today and we had a blast. We caught 89 crappie with 70 keepers. Fished drops and ledges in 17 to 19 feet of water with the baits down around 14 to 15 feet deep. Caught a lot of fish on the Southern Pro baby bass and the smoke shiner minnow tubes tipped with crappie nibbles. One picture is the fish in a 120 quart cooler. Big fish in the other pictures is a 1 pound 15 oz white. About as close to a two pounder as you can get. The fishing is going to get A lot better for the next few weeks. Kentucky Lake is a great place to fish.

    Hey Richard:

You KILLED them! Good way to break in the new boat. I'm ready for them to turn on here. Water temps are finally starting to fall again so that should help.
    FISH ON!
