    Default What is the difference?

Looking to add another finder. I have been looking around for a couple of weeks now. So my ? Is what is the diff in the HB 899 and 999 is it just screen size and what else do I need to know before I make this purchase in the next couple of days. The new unit will replace a 597ci hd di unit I bought from Brian last year. And moved to the bow where an older 535 is located now. Once the 535 comes off anyone that wants it they can have it I will be giving it away. Just want to know the diff In the 2 units because this is something that I don't want to buy again so want to get this right the first time.

The 899ci HD SI Combo comes stock with the XTM 9 SI 180 T...(Compact SI xducer capable of 83kHz/200kHz 2d and 455kHz SI)...

It can be traded (new in the package) for the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T ...(HDSI xducer capable of 83kHz/200kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz SI)...

I'm not sure about trade in price...(I've heard $50-$70)...

The 899 cannot use the Platinum maps from Navionics...

That would be the XNT-9-Si-180-T transom mounted transducer that comes stock with the 899ci HD Si model units, but he will want to exchange it for either of the transducers that Rickie posted.

The 1-inch of diagonal display and the Navionics Platinum mapping card are the only differences.

    No problem Rickie.
It’s gonna get worse with all the transducers for the ONIX and ION models…
