With threat of rain comming in by noon-2pm
the Okeechobee tournament got off to a slow start with fog bank sitting on top of
lake, visability reduced to around 100 ft,
water tem at 71.5, pressure 30:09 on rise
till around 10am, than started down as well
as bite fell off. Five (5) teams set out to
better 2013 winning weight of 8 lbs plus.

Parker team single pole jigged, Wally Marshall rods, Mr Crappie reels, in the
Tin House cove area 2 -3 ft water with
Skippers Jigs, Blue/chart and Southern
Pro 1000c Chart. "super Jigs"
Cole team single pole jigged Wally Marshall rods, working the 15' drop
contour area of Kissimmee river using
Southern Pro "stinger jigs" various colors
with orange/white belly being most liked.
Next tournament will be Lake Crescent,
March 8th, Crescent City public ramp.
