    Default Lakemaster Autochart Pro

I have been researching a new sonar unit and discovered the Lakemaster Autochart pro. Any body seen it used or use it yet?

Most of the lakes I fish do not have commercial maps available and this product would be great. You use your Sonar readings to create detailed maps. The maps can be tied t Ipilot as well, and supports the other lakemaster features.

I think I read release date in mid March...(I'll have to check on that date)...

You can actually already start making recordings of the areas you would want to map thru AutoCharts...and have them ready for when the AutoCharts is released...

I went with the Navionics + chart. The sonar chart option on the chip allows you to map lakes also. If Navionics has already mapped the lake, your data can be used to improve it. With the chip in your H/B unit, you have to use the chart selection menu to switch between the original Navionics charting, and your own sonar charting. it's just a 1 year subscription for the ability to map or upgrade old charts. After that, what you have done stays with you, but if want to do more lakes, ya gotta pay again. I think Lakemaster's ability to map stays with you year to year.

You can order it and see...

I think it's gonna be a cool added tool...especially for certain lakes that are not mapped by Navionics...

Most the lakes I fish are not charted. I am looking forward to the Autochart Pro version.
