Hey Ed,


Perhaps it is now time to take crappie.com to the next level. There really is a lack of good educational crappie fishing shows on tv so I propose the members here on c.com take the matter into their own hands and have one thread where they will be able to post their own tv show as if they were on tv. We can just use this thread if you and the members wish. You can welcome folks to crappie.com tv any way you wish and just ask them to start posting their videos here in addition to you tube if they wish. Wouldn't it be great to have such a resource of videos??? Just sayin......

Some big time producer bight even see this and want to sample the c.com videos and make an actual production every week featuring our member's videos.

I think that would be an excellent idea!!! Maybe someone that has a you tube video could even link it as well if the rules will allow it....

I think Slab should just take a cameraman, ( Billbob ) with him and travel around the countryside, monthly, fishing with CDC members and post the video on the sight. Really doesn't have to be Billbob tho. There's enough sponsorship here to help pay the cost of travel at least once a month, i'd guess.

If I only had the time!

Every camp I attend, every event I participate in, already sets me back weeks. Between everything I have to do to keep the site going, filling orders in the store, sending out decals to new members, the contests and prizes..... and the thousand other little things that I get inundated with. In fact, I'm hoping to get a nap in here soon so I can stay up late to upgrade the forum software tonight. Finally some free time for some software maintenance I've needed to do for two months. I'm not crying about it. I love the site and will do everything in my power to keep it going. And it's not just me, it's the moderators that make this site work. Without them it would never happen.

Feel free to video tape away. I do have a youtube channel I can put them on, and I do have an article category where I already publish video's to. We have 17 there now:

And yes, some day when I can actually afford to pay for real help (not just my mom stuffing envelopes, and my daughter occasionally filling orders), I will follow Billbob around and video tape the madness (and fun) that goes on at all the crappie camps across the country.

That's why the hardest part of a project like this would be the editing. Would have to view hundreds of hours of video to find a suitable 10 minutes of appropriate content! doh
