Those BASS will fry too! LOL Sounds like you've got the organization fine tuned! I too have tried to cut down on the amount of gear I carry. Keep after them, those crappie will start biting good before long!
So, I decided to head out Monday and hit the water since the weather is on its best behavior here. This year, I wanted to carry less gear/tackle. I ended up carrying one Plano Medium Pro-Latch Organizer, two packs of Berkley Gulp! Minnows, one jar of Crappie Nibbles, and live minnows. The idea is to carry no bass tackle besides the few pieces in the organizer and focus on crappie and other panfish. I catch one crappie and everything else... BASS!!!

Rock bass are good eating too.
I have two plano boxes. One with jig heads (1/32, 1/16) and one with about 20 colors of jig bodies, although I probably only catch fish on about 6 of them. I only Long line from Dec to April, but I stock those two boxes in Nov and use them all season.
I have a spare medium organizer that I want to stock with jig heads and bodies only. I've had my eye on one of the kits from Southern Pro. I should be done buying tackle for the year once I pick that up.
