New to Norman...Where to start?

Thinking about heading to Norman Saturday but haven't fished there before. Where should I put in and start looking for the crappie? Need to practice up some before the Spring Social in March. Thought about putting in at same landing as the social. Need some input from the regulars to Norman.

They are below 20 feet in most places outside the creeks. Prob staging to come in. Can always start at slips and then look for deep brush, ledges, etc. ill see you in march.
