Stupid question. Who is ready for spring ? Waiting tax return to upgrade electronics, wound up about crappie camp . This guy needs to go fishing and drilling holes in 16-18 inches of ice just ain't cutting it. Ugh come on spring.

Temperature was in the 50's today but my fishing hole still has ice on it. It is thawing though as I saw a deer fall through the ice as he was trying to cross it!

I have same problem as BR1. Warm temp but hole still frozen. I launched the boat today near my favorite spot and ran some circles to break the ice up. Went by this evening and it was thawing quickly so hopefully tomorrow's storm will open it up rest of the way and I can fish the mud hole Friday.

I'm with ya Gobob. Here in Champaign, we had snow, sleet, rain, thunder snow, lightening and then more snow...and that was just Monday.
