    Default Liveliest minnows

I know bubble aerators work to keep them alive. I bought an oxygenator from keep alive.com and put it in minnow bucket last year. Woke up and all of them were dead. I didn't have a recirculating pump like theirs have. What do you you guys use to make them more lively. I've seen guys come to a weigh in running pure oxygen and the fish almost jump out of the basket on the scale.

If I'm in the boat I put the minnows in the front livewell and the fish in the back. If I'm on shore I dunk the bucket every few minutes.

I will reply for Chief... Just put that half dead minnow behind your jig and wiggle it a little more!

I had forgotten all about it till now but I can remember back when I was a young'n, my Granddaddy used to save his used coffee grounds an put a hand full in the minner bucket. Now I don't know if it would help keep'um alive or not, but I can remember try'n to hold on to'um. I've never seen minners that fired up. I might give it a try next time I go out. Granddaddy caught a lotta fish in his day.

Is your ice from water coming from a well?????
Using ice made from city water contains some chlorinated chemicals that are not friendly with live fish.
If you freeze in small containers and then place containers into your bucket to cool water will not "contaminate" water.
