    Default FireTigers

Ive been wanting to do color ever since I got my airbrush but just now getting around to doing it. Flo green wasn't contrasting too well with the chartreuse so I decided to darken it up a bit by mixing a little watermelon with it. I painted one side of several baits with this mix one night and liked it. Welp I played heck trying to match that color two nights later! Woulda thought by now Id remember write everything down. These may come across as more of a perch color now but I was still satisfied. The last one is a 5" jerk bait.

I've got a 5 year old grand daughter that has commandeered several of my pet frog baits. The minnow baits? Nah. She likes those frogs. I have to hide them now when she's coming to visit.

Wow, those are mighty fine lookin baits. I tried regular airbrush paint and it will not stick no matter how clean you get them. Spike it has some nice paint and I may get me some. I wish they had some low VOC paint you don't have to redip the baits. Really nice technique . May be a new fad before long. You done got something started again. The bass guys will be all over that jerk bait!! How much??

Now you are showing me that I need to get an airbrush and some paint from Spike it and go play some more with my soft plastics. That could be a whole lot of fun and very expensive. How do you stop the paint from bleeding? How about shooting me a pm on what I need to order, and from whom.
