What's the pros and cons of a 2 piece vs 3 piece, or is it just a personal preference thing?

Wish B&M would go to two piece 14's and 16's. Breaking down and reconnecting a three piece rigged pole is a major pain especially after storing several in a locked rod box on an overnight trip.

this is exactly why I am looking for a two piece 14footer. I looked at grizzlys site and they don't seem to offer a 2 piece 14 ft rod anymore.

The only disadvantage to a 2 piece rod (outside of the few people that break down a 3-piece to put in a rod box) is the shipping, which is why no one makes them, a 6 ft or less rod tube ships for 7-9 bucks, anything over 6 ft is considered oversized and starts at around $18.

Just call, we've got 'em, but like I said you're going to take a hit on the shipping.

Grizzly has exactly what you need. Fiberglass or Graphite, 2 piece. I called and order mine, because I didn't
see them on web page. Get Graphite if you have the $. Sensitivity.

Josh I don't think its uncommon at all to have a second set of rods in the truck to address different conditions when tournament fishing.
