Default BGJP 14 foot Capps and Coleman 14 foot

I know this has most likely been beat to death. I am looking at buying some 14 foot rods to replace my 12 footers. I have the BGJP s and just wanted to see what opinions others have. I like my BGJPs just want to get longer rods. Does anyone prefer the Capps and Coleman rods? I kind of like the way they look.

Everyone has their favorites, but the BGJP is a fine choice, IMO. If you generally run no more than 3/4 oz rigs, either one is great. Anything heavier, and the PST's are the way to go.

I have 8 14' C&C and love them. Havent used the BGJP's. But from what I here the BGJP is a lighter rod and I couldn't imagine going any lighter than the C&C.

I've been going to pick up a couple of 14 footers. Handled the BGJP yesterday and it was too light (limber) for me.

The Capps and Coleman is even a little more limber.....It takes awhile to get used to them.....but once you do its good........can tell easier when you get a bite spider rigging.
