you'll are tougher than a pine knot.
Today was trip to the back country. We loaded up a snowmobile and hooked a sled behind it. Three of us loaded up our gear and went for a ride. two on the snow machine and one rideing the back of the sled. We were on a remote non fished small pond. The crappie were somewhat ready. We put 22 on the Ice. Water was 30 foot. The fish were hanging at 22. My largest was 15. I also iced 2 at 14 with the others from 11 - 13. Temp was at 0 when we got on the ice. Up to a pleasant 16 on exit.

Nice fish! still like winter crappie fishing in shorts and t- shirt in good old sunny FL!!!
Dang it man, y'all some tuff cookies
A pleasant 16. Hahaha. I would die!
Man, you'all are tough. With that ice fishing, you just poke a hole, drop a line, and wait for a fish to come by? Seems to me it's like idling out to a spot, setting anchor, and dropping a line. I lived/worked in Northern Michigan and Canada for three years in the mid 80's (outside work on drilling rigs). Some of the guys I worked with did that on their time off. I said not me, my time off was staying warm.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Put that machine on the trailer and head down here. The wind is gonna blow for 3 days and with all the new snow and slush we can't get to the good basins. Nice going Bee , sometime ya gotta get away from the crowds.
