Default I like this transducer mount

It is Rickie's da ducer apparatus. This is my second unit. I modified and mounted it similar to the one I had on the War Eagle. I could not retract the stick enough to get the transducer inside the boat, so I modified my mount by drilling more holes and used 1/4-20 x 3/8" set screws so the stick would slide further into the guide. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

    I removed this tie plate.

I drilled and tapped more holes to use set screws so to remove plate.

    Retracted view.

I don't know how half my post ended up here Wilbur??????

Strange things happening when I post stuff. I clicked edit and it took me to home page. My joystick post is missing major components too.
