Default Small Size Al rig or Multi Rig

Has anyone tried using these small size multi rigs or Alabama rigs on crappies? Was thinking about
trying one out but wanted some input first. Pros & cons - trolling casting

Make your own. They are easy to make and do work fine. I use the wire from those small flags they use to mark underground line with. A lead loop clamp and bend the ends to attach two swivels. I tie onto the loop made at the top and tip it with jigs or road runner heads. I cast out...count down and use a slow steady retrieve. I also found a stiffer rod works best for me for casting / control and rig it with 6 pound test. Works good when the fish are working the bait at night hard.

I can send you a link to get the lead clamps if you want it. Hope this helps.

Size: 57.5 KB They the crappie rigs are good when we find them suspended in the tops of trees, over brush piles, bridge piers. We like 6.5 -7.5 rods med-heavy rods, bait caster reels, the smallest prower pro braid!! Meatgetters minnercritters work great!! We cast or pitch the bait into the trees or brush!!Works great in the wind 10-20mph where you or I can't fish a 1/16oz jig!! Good search bait and can fill a limit in a hurry!! Seems to catch better than average (crappie)!! You can buy them from barlow's,lurepartsonline just add swivels!!! We make our own like the smaller dia wire.031-.032!!

These are aluminum double ferrules and the ones I'm using measure 7/16th by 1/2 long. With me working mids this is my 8 in the morning so give me some time and I'll get one of the rigs and post a px so you can see how it's put together. pretty simple to say the least.

Jackie I like how you have that inline spinner rigged in there and those road runners. a lot of flash and vibration. Jann's NetCraft will be getting another order from me soon after seeing that

Louie Mansfield gave us the Idea at Grizzly jig !!! a Rooster tail with legs A wealth of crappie info that man has!! The three legs the sky is the limit on how you can fish it!!! You can catch a limit in a hurry and bigger crappie.Has been our experience!!We fish it just like slow rolling a spinnerbait(bass fishing) The key is balance the bait!!! Like your idea also will work!!!
