    I heard that it was illegal to place structure in Kentucky lakes, is this true, cause i've been wanting to do it.

    The Corps owned lake allow it But... The want you to mark it on their map. and they print it, They will furnish blocks for you as weights, you cannot put them in traffic areas and rember the winter pull will leave your stuff on the bank!
    You cannot cut any thing below the "red line" so bring your own!

    Where and how does one get a copy of their map (the Corps). Plan on fishing some this fall and winter and also hope to buy some property there in the near future.

    All the Bait shops usually have them ,they are free it will get ya close, it is not a high end thing:rolleyes:

    I Spoke To The Biologist That Handles The Central Ky Lakes About The Same Thing Last Week, He Told My It Was Ok On The Lakes I Mentioned, He Did Not Ask Me For Their Location Only Be Careful Not To Put Them I Shallow Ski Or Swim Channels, I Have His Name If Anyone Needs It.

    Nice! thats some good news, I think I'll get me some of those porcupine structures & put em' bout 15 feet down

    Ky lake is a TVA lake,, we put beds out every year, as does everybody,,
