Default Rigging my boat for spider rigging

Hey guys, I have a Lund 1675 impact and wanting to rig it for spider rigging. I have two front storage decks and not sure about where to mount the bases. If anyone has a Lund or knows best way please let me know. Thanks Steve

As far forward as you can. I like my rack to be just a couple inches from my knees.

If you have the track system there is no need to drill holes in the boat. Some rod holders are specifically designed to work with that system and others can be mounted to the generic blocks that are used with that system. You'd then be able to place the rod holders anywhere you want without trouble or excessive holes in the boat.

As Feelay said, I like my rack as close as possible to my knees. This way you're not having to bend forward to get to your rods.

Thanks for the reminder of the track system. I totally forgot about using that. I have two already and tried it out this afternoon to see if it works. It will work. Thanks again

I don't know what holders you are using but I think hi-tek and bee ready both make holders designed to work with your track system. Hi-teks have been great for my spider setup; easy in, easy out, and they adjust to any angle/position.
