Default Dental X Ray Backing Foil

I just got about 25 lbs of the dental x ray backing foil from a local dentist. From what I have read, it's between 96 and 98% pure lead. Has anyone had any experience with this before? This is a pic of one of the foils.

Thanks, I've never even heard of it before. Feeling of it, it almost seems like its coated with plastic or something. With good lead getting harder to get ahold of, I'm glad to hear that this is good stuff.

Scott I got some from my dentist last year. That stuff is nice. It's really nice if you have a mold with small head and is hard to pour. Flows really well. I sent some to StumpHunter, he uses it to wrap the hook shank on a weighted fly he ties for a customer.
