Yes works Great my dentist keeps them for me and trade them for crappie jig's!! kind of thin but works great!!
I just got about 25 lbs of the dental x ray backing foil from a local dentist. From what I have read, it's between 96 and 98% pure lead. Has anyone had any experience with this before? This is a pic of one of the foils.

Got a hold of some Demo a hospital took it out of X-ray room been pouring with it 3yr 8' x4' sheet. Good and clean.
Scott I got some from my dentist last year. That stuff is nice. It's really nice if you have a mold with small head and is hard to pour. Flows really well. I sent some to StumpHunter, he uses it to wrap the hook shank on a weighted fly he ties for a customer.
