Very nice catch there, man if you had a bucket full of minnows.
Only had 14 minnows to use up and this is the take.

My guess is you had to get on the Apache trail to get there unless you went to Roosevelt? (Hwy 60 would be more practical way to Roosevelt)
Man I'd sure like hearing about fishin in AZ. Was there 80-90. 1st 2 yrs in Yuma, fished Mittry & Martinez Lakes and the Gila where it dumped into the Colorado.

They came from Bartlett, but as you know Roosevelt also grows them large. We're gonna hit them hard thursday night with the lights and see about loading the freezer. No limits out here.
Nice catch. Thought maybe so. Is Tortilla Flat still on the map? How big is it?Originally Posted by Jumping Cholla Jigs

Hope to return & retire in AZ, never shoulda left.
PM me if ya ever wanna talk AZ. I did some incredible solo horse rides there.
Crossed dam at Horseshoe Lake, spent cpl days shoeing mules at old KA Ranch right there across Verde River from road coming from Carefree/Cave Creek. Rode up to Sheeps Crossing, left and rode the Verde all the way to Pine/Strawberry AZ and kept on to Flag & the Canyon.
Did another rode the canal out from Glendale to McKellups out to 1st water trailhead in Superstions. Went up to Reavis Ranch in the Supes, dropped out near Superior, rode the mining country south think I got on the San Pedro River near Kearney, thru San Manuel, to Benson, St David, Tombstone. Went over in the Chiricuhua Mts, dropped out in Rodeo, NM, rode to Silver City, trailered back.
Sorry to ramble, take care.
