    Default Question: Sinking Brush


    How big of a concrete block do I need to sink a cedar probably no bigger than a regular size Christmas tree? More specific how big of a container would I make a block from?

    You have to know where you are going to put it to determine how much weight you will need, such as if it goes where there is some current once inawhile you will need more weight, if in a cove less weight........ we always figure you can never have too much....

    get 40lb. concrete blocks from lowes 125 I think if I think 1 will work I use 2 like monte though if you put it out on a point or main channel you can't use to much back in a cove 1 block will hold 2 or 3 Christmas trees out on a point it is a guess 1 time last summer or fall they were releasing 61,000 cfs out of the loz would not even guessi got a couple places been putting them for bout 40 years keep putting in new ever so often prolly 30 or 40 blocks down there they are prolly interconnected????
