    Default long lining horsehead alternative

Here in another month or so, I begin long lining pony/horsehead. Got to thinking, maybe I will try something a little different this year.

Does anyone use inline spinners to long line? Also do you place a weight in front of them (seems like to me that they would lift). Thinking about making my own, any suggestion on sizes of blades and weight?

I have 4 or 5 I made a long time ago for casting haven't tried pulling them but don't know why the wouldn't work. Took some spinnerbait wires I had, painted some different size worm weights. Small plastic beads, put on hook,2 small plastic beads, worm weight,2 beads then clevis with #2 or #3 Colorado or Indiana blades. Then twist in a eye to attach line to. Worked pretty good casting. Using the worm weights don't think you would have to add any additional weight
