Well it's been here all day and looks like it's giving way a little, but probably not going away until tomorrow. It at least was a real powder snow.

Looks like your average January day here on the North Coast :)

I DO feel for you guys, though, mostly because I went to Florida for the first time over Christmas. I was walking around in shorts and a t-shirt on December 28, and I was thinking "this is pretty cool...".

Also, I noticed a few posts recently about how to fish in extreme cold fronts. For the guys that do it, my hat's off to ya' :notworthy If your water temp drops 10 degrees in the space of 36 hours, most warm water species (heck, cold water species) go into a coma and sink to the bottom of the lake. You will bounce your jig off 1000 noses just to get a single take on the inhale. Up here, we build a house over 'em, where we can have heat, hot food, and maybe even TV.

Right now, at Houghton Lake, MI: 14 degrees, wind SW 15 - 25, snow.

Looks like the MO Spring Camp last year and Slab didn't even make it.

That'll make for a fun day. Gotta agree on them slabs turning on, wish I had snow and 30's instead of this high pressure and highs of 24.

Glad to see ya on here Billbob

It is really crappy in the Northeast. I am not a fan of all the snow and cold either. That is why I moved to Alabama from Ohio when I retired 14 years ago. This winter I have felt like I was back in Ohio. Brrrrrrrrrr.
