You are a tougher man than me.
I just could not stand it any longer so hit the water yesterday in the cold and wind! Its not often but I got my butt handed to me...not one crappie! I did catch a bunch of bream and two small bass. Biggest problem was every time I pitched cork and jig ...ice would form on last three eyes of rod! I think my fingers thawed out sometime last night while sleepin! Here is a pic of my long rods with ice on them ...took this when I took boat out.
An ungrateful man is like hog under a tree eating acorns, but never looking up to see where they come from!Ikard77 LIKED above post

Way to get after em, even though you didn't catch em. The colder the better for me.
Brave man. Back in the day I might of went but now if it's not going to hit at least 50 I'm staying home.
I have old cold blood, too old for that. Glad some of you younger ones can stand it.
When nothing is going right, Just go fishing.

Spray WD-40 on guides and real and that will help keep ice from forming on the rod and line. Anybody have any ice fishing jigs, looks like we might have an ice fishing opportunity soon in all this global warming! lol
Dang sir ! your the man. I'm not worthy !!!
The truth is hard to accept, so is life .
A little vaseline in the eyes will help a lot as well.
