Ive crossed that lake a lot and every time i cross it, i tell myself im gonna have to make a trip down and see whats cracking. from what ive seen from the road, its really inviting. I did help a feller who fished commercially on them lakes run his trotlines several times about 20 year ago but never crappie fished there.

I talked to guy at work that fishes Russell, he mainly bass fishes but has done a little crappie fishing. And he has good luck under the bridges which one I do not know. But a place to start.
