    Default The Ultimate Duck Hunter

I don't get to see these often but came across several Golden Eagles this weekend. They were around a field full of ducks waiting for a week one. You don't realize the size of this bird until you see one next to another bird. In one tree there were two Bald Eagles and 3 Goldens and they are twice the size of a Bald.

I didn't know they ever came to Arkansas. I flushed one while in Colorado many years ago. The size is amazing.

Great pics Billy! I possibly saw one a few years ago down at Hogue. It may have been an immature bald eagle though, wasn't close enough to tell. Sure was big. I only saw the bald eagles once last year. I need to take a good camera with me. Can't get close enough with the phone.

Great pictures. They will get a duck or goose. As far as I know I've never seen a golden. Bald eagles are plentiful in southern Illinois.
