Went out this morning, pretty excited. Wasnt a soul anywhere, I drilled a few holes close to the bank. Didnt seem very safe to me. Saw 2 guys at antioch, didnt get out to test the ice there. Dang the luck. What I found was about 3-4 inches of slushy on top. Good fishing to ya.

Yea, I saw the brush at marrysville, thats in some deep water. I think the ice was good first of the week and probably fine yesterday. Just wasnt taking any chances. By the way DuckHunter, where abouts do you fish the marmaton? Dont need any specifics, just wandering. Born and raised in that part. I used to fish it south of Bronson and in Uniontown when I was a kid.

Ice didn't look to good tonight. Opened up just east of the bridge. Water in the cracks and around the logs everywhere.
