Since they don't make it public if they are generating or not I get to play the crapshoot every winter on if I pick the right day to be on the water when it's actually warm. I've been hearing reports that the lake is partially frozen and the water is only in the 40's at the outlet. Has anyone been on La Cygne that can confirm any of this? We have a new baby in the house so I've been at home for over a month now but momma is giving me the green light to fish tomorrow but I'd hate to drive down to La Cygne just to waste gas looking for fish that aren't going to bite. Thanks in advance for any help.

Awesome, sounds like it might be Coffey Co or nothing then. Hopefully the wind doesn't get any stronger than they're predicting so we don't get paged off the lake early.
Congrats on baby and pass to go fishing. Wolfcreek shut down has moved to march instead of febuary.

March 8th tentatively for Coffey county
Smoke coming out of the stack today. Looked open from the highway
sounds good won't take long for the wind and warm weather to clear it up
