What kind of deep cycle batteries do you run on your boat. My boat is wired for 12v but think I'm goin to put two on this year to run I sync for them windy days that I'm on the TM all the time.

I like Trojan 225SC in 31 group size. I had them in my 19 foot bass boat for over 7 years and they were still going strong when I sold it They come with thicker lead plates and will last a long time. I would run mine 10 hours during a tournament on 2 constantly and never kill them. Keep in mind I had to 74 pound thrust MinnKota Maxim and was running 24 volt system. I now have the Ultima deep cycle 31 group on my 18 foot DuraCraft and it seems okay. BTW you may have to change out the battery box (s) if you go with group 31 batteries but I think it was worth it.

If your aren't pulling cranks and maintain 2 mph all day then pretty much any of them will work. Key to all of them is maintenance, take care of em and they will take care of you.
If pulling cranks I like the cart batts like the Trojan mentioned above, I use US Battery myself and pull a 20 BassCat ALL day long during the summer months.
    Good luck.

Trojans are without equal, but Everstarts are the best value. Interstates and Delcos are the same as Everstarts.

I had a source (for a short time) for some cheap 24 series agms. I've had them for 7 years and they are still going strong. Other than that, I use wally world batteries. Currently, I have the 2 wired together for starting, and 2 for my 24 volt terrova. I can pull my cranks all day at 1.2 ( I'm slow) with no problem. I also use 2 ,2 bank bps onboard chargers and charge my batteries asap after fishing. the walmart batteries usually last 4-5 years like this
