Default Lump in my boot !

Ever seen a Flying Squirrel ? Put on my boot and there was a lump in it. Guess he was hunting a warm dry spot on the porch.

LOL, did it not move? It would have been my luck he would have climbed my leg and I would have ruined a new pair of drawers!

I haven't seen one of those in years. Last one I saw was in Sylamore WMA.

Had one get stuck in my buddies pipe feeder a few years ago. He didn't have a lid on it. Looked down in it to check how much corn was left, and saw a dark spot in it. Got the flashlight out and realized what It was. Got him out and let him go.

We had one entire family of these in the crawlspace of our deer camp. What BIG eyes!

I had another family in the false floor (I'd added a new floor) of one of my deer stands. Would crawl up the sides when I was in it and get upset I was stomping on their roof.....Getting them out of there (not me, I was skeered!!! A young guy helped me out) was a trip!! I wish I had a movie of it.

I went back out to put my boots on and danged there was another one. Caught him too and put them in a cardboard box. Gave them an Orange section and a few shelled Pecans. Plan to release them in the woods after the ice melts.

You lucky he did not take a bite outta your toe. I put my foot into my shoe on our back porch and got stung by a scorpion. Not good.
Now I shake it our before I put it on.

I'm suspecting those boots smelled like pecans.

Never saw a flying squirrel in my life, but in my boot is not where I ever want to find one.

Used to feed them sunflower seeds. Got them tame enough to eat out of my hand. They would come flying in right at dusk.
