Looking to buy a panfish/crappie spinning rod for drifting bobbers over structure, catching bluegill, and trolling live bait. Only things I'm particular about are: I want the rod to be around 7" and be "one piece rod." I also want backbone. Last thing I want is a light rod.
My other question is it good to have more guides for crappie/panfish fishing? I was looking at the Wally Marshall black tuxedo ones which each have about 9+ guides. I like that these are light and one piece.
I have a BPS micro light spinning reel. I bought last year and want a nice rod for it.
I appreciate your help.
Cabela's rods are good, too, but I think you're gonna run into the same "one piece" problem.
Here is your rod, but I doubt it is under $60. I would check his website to be sure. The thread started a few months back but it has current posts on it.
