I now use them. I like the light wire hooks that bends somewhat. Seems that I stay hung up on a regular basis.

I useta use the spring wire stuff at walmart, but the rigs have become somewhat pricy and the hooks don't give on hang ups.

Only prob with the capps and coleman (actually Ky rigs) is: it is a pain in the ars to un-package and unwind. Very aggravating for an old feller.

Lately I have just been taking the slip float off my go to rig I handcraft myself. Without the float it is good for deep fishing or trolling. Capps and Coleman is great for tournament fishing, but I am a retired old coot who likes to fun fish now.

I use the regular crappie rig with a 1oz. weight on the bottom. The heavy weight helps to get me unsnagged from the underwater stick ups just by bouncing the weight up and down and not setting the hook too hard.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
