looks like you got a following. PM "edhead" and let him know about your idea. He can make it happen for you "hard water" anglers. You may even get to be the Mod, for that forum ....... luck2ya ... cp :cool:

Though we NEVER get that cold down here, I would love to see an ice fishing forum. That is something I have always wanted to try.

I'll contribute, but we dont freeze up til January. I'm sure I'll come up w/plenty of ?'s for the Northerners. I've only been doing it for a few yrs. Probably been a dozen times.

always up for icefishing, but wanna know how you all fillet the ice you catch?:rolleyes: and how do you fry it up after you do get it cleaned LOL:p

i'm in, we only usually have about a two week window to hard water fish here in st. louis, but i'm dumb enough to drive 5 hours north to freeze and catch fish that are smaller than the ones i catch here in the winter. all it takes is one time where you hook into something that is so big you have to widen your "ice hole" to get it out. that is a rush you can't get from any other kind of fishing. plus, when you do catch 'em, you can just toss 'em out next to you cause that's the freezer.
