Ice fisherman prepare to go forth
cause the news is it's thick way up north

While here in the south we sure are blessed
to fish year round for a big ole mess.

Why does crappie fishing preoccupy the mind?
There's no better recreation you will find.

You can fish with children and create great memories
Just remember to have patience with the little ones, please.

You can fish with friends or maybe your wife
You may even find the catch of your life.

It brings folks together and it makes us smile
and we forget the world's troubles for just a while.

If Santa enjoys crappie fishing, then you know it's right
