Crappie fishing middle of March

Hello: I,m from Iowa and am looking for ideas on where to go Crappie fishing around March 15 for a week. Thinking about Mississippi or at least someplace that is warmer than where I,m at. Thank You. O - R

welcome to the site Outdoorsman, there are so many great southern lakes I couldn't begin to suggest one, but I'm sure there will be someone or a 100 that will have suggestions for you.

Can't really go wrong going to one of the North Mississippi lakes. Whatever you do, don't go to Reelfoot. No fish there haha

If coming to Mississippi just watch the board for reports and watch weather reports. Don't know how far out you have to plan but might vary one week either side.

If going to mississippi big 4 you will really want to watch the wind. Lots of boats sunk there in the spring.
